The practice has a “Patient Participation Group” and a “Patient Reference Group”. The membership of both these groups is made up from patients registered at the practice who attend either the Claypath Medical Centre or University Health Centre.
We are currently actively seeking new members to join both groups, to ensure a wider representation of our patient population.
The aim of the groups is that by working together we can continue to develop and improve the services we are able to offer patients.
The Patient Participation Group meets three times a year and is made up of patients and practice staff. If you are interested in joining this group and attending meetings, please contact Gillian Bevan, General Manager, who would be pleased to discuss this with you.
If it is difficult for you to attend meetings, you can join our “Patient Reference Group”. Members of the group will be contacted by e-mail from time to time and asked questions on how we can improve the services the practice provides and how they perceive our surgery and staff.
The practice aims to have a Patient Reference Group of around 100 patients from as broad a spectrum as possible in order to get a representative sample. We need young people, those in employment, unemployed, or retired, people with long-term conditions, people from non-British ethnic groups, etc. In particular we are keen to engage University students who are patients at our University Health Centre site.
If this appeals to you please complete contact reception staff at either practice.
